                                                                              "Pran jaye par vachan na jayee"
Ravi Verma (Suresh Oberoi) who is a Commando of the V.I.P. Security unit, along with his wife Arti (Sudha Chandran) daughter Sneha (Baby Gazala) & younger brother Raghuveer (Sunil Shetty) even today follows & uphold the principles of Raghukul. Raghuveer who is law student is in love with Roshni (Shilpa Shirodkar) who is a press reporter and daughter of Judge Gayatri Devi (Aruna Irani).

In the same city is an elected Minister Sewakram (Prem Chopra) who along with his advisor Nitiram Chanakya (Gulshan Grover) makes the city a hell to live in. Raghuveer who follow the principles of truth come in the way of the Sewakram and his advisor, who decide to destroy Raghuveer's career by using their man Mr. Jhunjhunwala, who is the donor of the same college. They portray Raghuveer in such a way that even his brother starts considering him as a roadside Mawali. That day Raghuveer takes oath to finish Sewakram and all crime from the city, one day Raghuveer comes and catches Sewakram by his throat but Ravi Verma who has been appointed as his security officer intervenes in between, duty and principals turn a wall between two brothers. Sewakram decides to take revenge and trap Raghuveer in the false murder case of Ganpat (Mohnish Behl) who is the brother of Nitiram by using fake witness and false proof sentences him to gallows.

Later, Ravi Verma finds proof of his brother's (Raghuveer) innocent, in the fit of anger attacks Sewakrarn but is killed by Nitiram. Now, Raghuveer decides to take revenge of his brother's murder and runs away from the funeral ceremony. Now Raghuveer is a wanted criminal. Will he be able to get revenge or will be hanged? Will Sewakram and Nitiram Chanakya be successful in their Chanakya Politics?
